The solution to traffic jam in Cambodia

Traffic jam is a complicated problem that every country has to solve. In Cambodia, it is said that the reasons of traffic congestion come from the increasing of population and vehicles. That is why, some people said that we should join to reduce  the using of private transportation and follow the traffic law. Plus, government needs to construct more ways.

            Firstly, people have to reduce the using of private car or motorbike because the population grows day after day, so if one person has one vehicle, the road is very full of vehicles. However, government can handle it by encouraging people to use public transportation. For example, students and teachers can use it for free by showing the ID card to the driver. Secondly, people need to practice the traffic law like traffic light. Some people do not respect the traffic light. For example, at Dermkor market, people always continue to drive even when the traffic light is red. Moreover, they usually drive on the outside line that people on the opposite side can not travel. It makes congestion. Hence, the government should punished  all of them  by fining. Thirdly, government must establish the new roads or the sky bridges in order to help  traveler have a lot of ways to reach the destination  faster than before. Obviously, there have a lot of sky bridges in Cambodia today such as 7 January, 5 January and Steung mean chey sky bridge as well. All of those bridges can reduce heavily traffic.

            Finally, the best solution to reduce traffic jam is teaching people to use bus or train and is government should reinforce the law and create the news ways. Therefore, we, Cambodian, should engage to practice together.
